Our Mission
We started Leisurely because we were tired. Not just personally — though yes, that too — but tired of the idea that the answer to burnout is always more: more productivity, more consumption, more stuff made cheaply and discarded quickly.
We made one small, considered collection of bedding. Crafted in Portugal by makers we know by name. Made to last years, not seasons. We believe that choosing quality over quantity, saying no to ever more stuff, is a subtle but real act of hope.
There’s not just one way to solve the climate crisis. But we do need to be rested if we’re going to try.

Sophie Lang - Founder
I started Leisurely in 2020 after getting fed up with fast fashion creeping into every corner of the home. I run Leisurely alongside a full-time job – but refuse to call it a side hustle. That wouldn’t be very Leisurely, would it?

Lenzing - Fibre Production
Based in Autria, Lenzing are the technical experts behind TENCEL™ Lyocell — our fibre of choice made from sustainably sourced wood pulp in a closed-loop process that reuses 99% of its water and solvents.

Lameirinho - Weaving
A family-owned textile mill in Portugal with decades of expertise. They weave our fabric to a hotel-grade standard that most high street brands can't match.

Our sheets are woven and stitched under one roof. After the fabric is woven it’s passed over to the sewing department to finish into the Leisurely bedding sets you’ll find right here.
